Being a climate change dissenter isn’t sexy

If the debate over climate change is closed, why is John Coleman, the founder of the Weather Channel, still trying to prove it’s all a scam?

I had to post this- mainly because I am glad to know that I am not the only one either...well along with the majority of my family. It's long- but interesting, even if the reporter seems to be trying to show he's a quack also- but the fact remains, we're being fed garbage and are being told it's gourmet food. Not EVERYONE is buying. EVERYONE doesn't think we're destroying the planet single-handedly. I appreciate that he says he supports alternative energy research too- since it's the next wave, a natural progression, but not because he's being scared into it. http://www.good.is/?p=14864&GT1=48001

In Case You're Interested... :)

My Pirate/ Samurai's
En Garde!!

Owen getting his first bath- what a cutie!!
Here he is in his natural state- haha!
Playing Whac-a-Mole Christmas morning- I know, I'm a babe!
The home of most of the monsters in our house- the Stuff Room. Here are the boys trying to rid the room of them!
"Here comes the monster!"- HIDE!!

I know it probably gets old looking at blogs that are filled almost entirely with pictures of the bloggers family (read: children)- but since this blog is entirely for ME- I guess I will do whatever the heck I want. My boys, Porter & Seth are perma-pirates and monster-fighters. Porter has his plastic blue-handled machete shoved down the back of his shirt almost 24 hours a day. Seth allows Porter to shove a gray Dairy Keen lunch meal prize sword down the back of HIS shirt- they get on some kind of pirate hat (also compliments of the Dairy Keen) and run around fighting everyone and everything. Porter will bring me an adopted (as in- I have NO idea how we inherited it) bazooka water gun and say "If the monster comes in here-use this" with complete matter-of-factness. If I were to say that they crack me up- it would be a complete understatement. To say that they light up my life- doesn't begin to say it. Don't get me wrong, I spend MUCH of my day hollaring: stop this, don't do that- do you want to bite soap?- next time, it's a time out!... you get the picture, but they are sooooooooo stinking cute that I can hardly stand it! So here are some pictures that will give you an idea of my life- but certainly won't do justice to the cuteness that is my 3 boys.

Porter's 4th Birthday!!

For Porter's birthday this year we decided to take everyone to one of his FAVORITE places- the Bowling Alley!! Everyone had a great time- especially the kids... at least until the 5th frame when they mostly decided they were starving... haha. Which is the OTHER reason that Porter loves the bowling alley- they have the BEST burgers and fries in town.. or just about any town for that matter. Overall it was a great time and the birthday boy thought it was the best party ever.

Help!!

I've been working on a quilt for the new baby for the last 2 days and have, in the meantime, been completely ignoring my children- who have mostly behaved really nice for me during these mental check-outs. The last 2 days they have gone into the family room, then they remove all the sofa cushions and do their best to make a 'fort'. I'm okay with this since it keeps them entertained and out of my sewing area. This morning after an hour or so I hear Seth calling from the other room- Help! Help! Ayuda me!! Help! Help! Ayuda me!!! You'll have to excuse my lack of correct Spanish spelling I'm sure- but the meaning cannot be misaken. I don't know how many of you have watched Go! Diego, Go!, but I have... apparently so has Seth. Needless to say, I was cracking up.

Seriously, so Funny

I know it's wrong to get wrapped up in a make-believe world- but I can't help myself. I find myself going to Noelle's blog- scrolling down to the link and checking in with TAMN every few days and I finally had to do it- I added it to my list of Favorites. I know there will be those who have NO clue what the HECK this crazy person is talking about- but I LOVE it. I had to say something to excuse my addiction is all- so there's my excuse- I am just too weak- I had to have my OWN link.

LOVE TAMN!
