More Than Words
The other day, Porter was going to pieces when he inadvertently broke the bucket off of his toy back-hoe (I can't believe I even know what it's called- if not how to spell it). I did my best to calm him down- as well as I could while feeding the baby, and told him very confidently that I would fix it later. This made him feel better and he wandered off. My mom showed up for a visit and we sat and talked for awhile before realizing it'd been awhile since we'd heard from either of the boys. We walked into the kitchen and found out why...
Look closely....
Yes, that's a taped-mouth Porter,
Blessing Day
We finally got around to blessing this cute baby!! We all managed to make it to the church on-time, with no catastrophes- in fact, we were about the last one's to arrive due to feeding scheduling conflicts... this is why I try to not commit to anything these days- it's waaaaay too much pressure. Anyway, it was a great day! All of Morgan's brothers made it with their families and mostly everyone from my family managed to make it too- with Noelle & Steve representing for the Cahow/Garnica branch. Grandma & Grandpa Miller came out from California too- where would we be without you? Thank you everyone who made it- and thanks to those who wished they could've been there. Morgan did a great job (naturally) and it wasn't fast Sunday- so I was stoked- hahaha!

Winter-Shminter
Here's to a nice snow day! We have a guy in our ward who comes with his tractor and plows the driveway after every snow and the boys LOVE it when he comes. Usually they just call to him from the windows and envy that he is driving a tractor and they're not, but this particular Saturday luck was with them because it had snowed, Morgan was home AND Brad showed up all at the same time- so I hurriedly dressed them both and they ran out to play in the snow with the big boys... and had so. much. FUN!!! Owen and I, on the other hand were enjoying the snow from indoors- his snow day is represented here as well...

Being a climate change dissenter isn’t sexy
If the debate over climate change is closed, why is John Coleman, the founder of the Weather Channel, still trying to prove it’s all a scam?
I had to post this- mainly because I am glad to know that I am not the only one either...well along with the majority of my family. It's long- but interesting, even if the reporter seems to be trying to show he's a quack also- but the fact remains, we're being fed garbage and are being told it's gourmet food. Not EVERYONE is buying. EVERYONE doesn't think we're destroying the planet single-handedly. I appreciate that he says he supports alternative energy research too- since it's the next wave, a natural progression, but not because he's being scared into it. http://www.good.is/?p=14864>1=48001

In Case You're Interested... :)
I know it probably gets old looking at blogs that are filled almost entirely with pictures of the bloggers family (read: children)- but since this blog is entirely for ME- I guess I will do whatever the heck I want. My boys, Porter & Seth are perma-pirates and monster-fighters. Porter has his plastic blue-handled machete shoved down the back of his shirt almost 24 hours a day. Seth allows Porter to shove a gray Dairy Keen lunch meal prize sword down the back of HIS shirt- they get on some kind of pirate hat (also compliments of the Dairy Keen) and run around fighting everyone and everything. Porter will bring me an adopted (as in- I have NO idea how we inherited it) bazooka water gun and say "If the monster comes in here-use this" with complete matter-of-factness. If I were to say that they crack me up- it would be a complete understatement. To say that they light up my life- doesn't begin to say it. Don't get me wrong, I spend MUCH of my day hollaring: stop this, don't do that- do you want to bite soap?- next time, it's a time out!... you get the picture, but they are sooooooooo stinking cute that I can hardly stand it! So here are some pictures that will give you an idea of my life- but certainly won't do justice to the cuteness that is my 3 boys.

Porter's 4th Birthday!!
For Porter's birthday this year we decided to take everyone to one of his FAVORITE places- the Bowling Alley!! Everyone had a great time- especially the kids... at least until the 5th frame when they mostly decided they were starving... haha. Which is the OTHER reason that Porter loves the bowling alley- they have the BEST burgers and fries in town.. or just about any town for that matter. Overall it was a great time and the birthday boy thought it was the best party ever.
